ABSTRACT The present research work, entitled "DESIGN OF THE WATER CHANNEL QUENETO THROUGH COATING WITH CONCRETE PROGRESSIVE KM 0 + 000 - KM 3 + 0.20 FRONT OF WATER LOSSES. SECTOR TOMABAL. PROVINCE OF VIRU. FREEDOM. 2018 ",aims to improve the hydraulic infrastructure of the canal and its structures to promote the incorporation of new hectares to the production of new crops and / or to improve existing ones and to improve the quality of life of families in the Tomabal sector. The design criteria are supported in their respective mathematical calculations, which allow to ensure a hydraulically efficient and structurally safe infrastructure that therefore ensures the good operation and availability of the water resource towards the cultivation lands; with these criteria the costs of the execution of this project will be determined, to perform the economic benefit / cost evaluation to determine its viability in economic and social terms. For the elaboration of the project, field visits were made to the canal Queneto, to perform gaugings the topographic survey was carried out to determine: the axis of the channel with a length of 3000.20m ,and thus determine the design flow, the amount of hectares to benefit is 127.23 hectares. the works of art are: 28 laterals, 7 sewers, 1 rapid, 1 vertical fall, 5 vehicular and 5 pedestrian, the channel design of the r section with 0.50 m of base and 0.85m of height. For the processing of the field data, Microsoft Office 2013 programs were used: Word, Excel and Project and applied engineering programs such as: H-channels V3.0, AutoCAD, S10 Costs . With which a total project budget of S /. 1,056,214.68, the plan of location, the plant, profiles, cross sections, works of art; Metered, unit costs and work scheduling.
