The objective of this research is to determine the level of social support perceived in older adults in the home of the older adult of the Municipality of San Martin de Porres, 2019. He studied is a descriptive research, basic level and quantitative approach according to the handling of the data; the design is non-experimental of cross section. The universe of the population is made up of 33 older adults that assistant in the house of the older adult of the Municipal of San Martin de Porres; The instrument used to collect information is Zimet's multidimensional scale of perceived social support (MPSS), which allowed measuring three dimensions: family support, support from friends and support from significant others, each with their respective items. The conclusion obtained was that the social support perceived in the elderly of the social workshops of the house of the older adult of the municipality of San Martin de Porres is moderate with 85%, this is due to the involvement of family, friends and other significant so that the older adult feels emotional, emotionally included, respected and accepted by their immediate surroundings.
