The objective of the research was to determine the relationship that exists between the alimentary habits and the nutritional state in the students of the Primary Level, Public Educational Institution N° 2093 Santa Rosa, Callao, 2018. Research quantitative type, descriptive level, transversal descriptive method and correlational design. We worked on a sample of 140 students. To collect the data, a questionnaire was used, validated by expert judgments and Cronbach's Alpha statistic with 0.809 and 0.873. The results obtained with respect to the alimentary habits were that 60.00% present a regular level, 22.14% a bad level and only 17.86% a good level; with regard to nutritional status, 62.14% was found at a normal level, 20.71% at an excess level and 17.14% at a default level. Concluding that the variable eating habits is directly and positively related to the variable nutritional status, according to the Spearman correlation of 0.687. Consequently, the director of the Educational Institution was recommended to coordinate with the head of the Health Center of his jurisdiction, in order to provide educational and demonstrative sessions to students and parents on healthy eating.
