The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between lifestyles and metabolic syndrome in laboratory service workers, Hospital Carlos Alcántara Butterfield, La Molina, 2018. Descriptive, transversal, quantitative and correlational design Research. The Sample was 33 workers, as a instrument the questionnaire was used and a matching file sheet validated by trial of experts and with a reliability of the alpha of Crombach and the Kr20 of 0876 and 0831. As a result, 42.42% of the workers present lifestyles on a regular level, on the other hand 63.64% do not present metabolic syndrome and 36.36% if they present. It was concluded that there is a direct relationship between lifestyles and metabolic syndrome. Therefore, the head of the laboratory service was recommended to ask the Chief of nurses to perform educational sessions for the laboratory personnel, showing the possibilities and options that he has to improve his lifestyles, through a good Feeding and minimal exercises, to prevent metabolic syndrome, and other illnesses that lead to an unhealthy lifestyle.
