In Marketing, we can find many elements, including the communication, which is an essential tool for better political task. By communicating, the person who pretends to address a responsible message to an audience, has the challenge of getting his ideas be shared by the society he addresses to. This process is done through the media that are responsible for getting the message to the public, a message which in many cases is discussed because it seeks to manipulate audience expectations by introducing electoral party ideologies or movements that have ethically questionable purposes. It is argued that in politics there is no empty space, is that in the political system when a group disappears or is minimized, that space is filled by another and its leader becomes an opinion leader in the industry and aims to fight to gain power. This study is an approach to the understanding of a current phenomenon that is the political advertising and marketing, from Peruvian political reality, especially during the last presidential election (2011). It is also an analysis of the theoretical basis consistent with this reality. It also takes into account, the different professional fields involved in this research by providing an interdisciplinary approach, that at the same time, provides a more solid basis for explanatory mechanisms of the Peruvian political reality. The aim of this investigation is not only to provide an exploratory study, it is also, to expand the frontiers of knowledge in general.
