Estilos de aprendizaje en estudiantes del quinto año de educación secundaria de la Institución Educativa Privada “Pamer” del distrito de Chorrillos

Abstract

La presente investigación es un estudio de tipo descriptivo no experimental de corte transversal, se consideró como objetivo general, determinar el nivel de los estilos de aprendizaje en los estudiantes del quinto año de educación secundaria de la Institución Educativa Privada “Pamer” del distrito de Chorrillos; en una muestra de tipo censal, compuesta por 56 estudiantes, 26 varones y 30 mujeres, con edades entre 15 y 16 años. Para la investigación se utilizó como instrumento el Cuestionario Honey-Alonso de Estilos de Aprendizaje (CHAEA), adaptado al Perú por Zavala (2008), el cual determina las preferencias en el estilo de aprendizaje de los estudiantes. Se hallaron los siguientes resultados: el nivel de estilo de aprendizaje predominante en estudiantes del quinto año de educación secundaria de la Institución Educativa Privada “Pamer” del distrito de Chorrillos, se considera “Alta”, obteniendo un porcentaje del 33,0%. En cuanto a sus dimensiones: en el estilo de aprendizaje activo se obtuvo un 39,29% con nivel “Alto”; en el estilo de aprendizaje reflexivo se obtuvo un 29.79% con nivel “Muy alto”, en el estilo de aprendizaje teórico se obtuvo un 37,50% con nivel “Alto” y finalmente, en el estilo de aprendizaje pragmático se obtuvo un 33.93% con nivel “Alto”.

The present research is a cross-sectional non-experimental descriptive study, it was considered as a general objective, to determine the level of learning styles in the students of the fifth year of secondary education of the Private Educational Institution “Pamer” of the district of Chorrillos; in a sample of census type, composed of 56 students, 26 males and 30 females, with ages between 15 and 16 years. For the research, the Honey - Alonso Learning Styles Questionnaire (CHAEA) was used as an instrument, adapted to Peru by Zavala (2008), which determines the preferences in the learning style of the students. The following results were found: the level of learning style predominant in students of the fifth year of secondary education of the Private Educational Institution “Pamer” of the district of Chorrillos, is a considered “High”, obtaining a percentage of 33.0%. In terms of its dimensions: in the active learning style 39,29; were obtained with a “High” level; in the style of reflective learning, 29,79% was obtained with a “Very High” level, in the theoretical learning style, 37,50% was obtained with a “High” level and finally, in the pragmatic learning style, 33,93% was obtained with a “High” level.
