The objective of this research is to identify the level of family functionality in the first and second year of secondary school of the IEP San Juan Bautista in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho, period 2018. The study corresponds to a descriptive research, of basic level and with a quantitative approach according to the handling of the data. The research design is non-experimental, cross-sectional. The universe of the population consists of 50 adolescents of I.E.P. - San Juan Bautista and the sample was census, due to the small number of participants. The technique used to collect the information was the survey and the instrument used was The Family Social Climate Scale (FES), which evaluates three dimensions such as relationships, development, and stability. The conclusion reached was that the family functionality of adolescents of I.E.P. San Juan Bautista expressed in 92% of the young people evaluated is located in the moderate category, because the strengthening of family integration is still lacking.
