Title: Habilidades sociales en estudiantes de secundaria de una institución educativa particular del distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho

Abstract: El concurrente estudio de tipo descriptivo y diseño no experimental, tiene como finalidad definir el nivel de Habilidades sociales 54 estudiantes (30 mujeres y 24 hombres) del 1° a 5° de Secundaria (secciones únicas) de una institución educativa particular del distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho. El instrumento utilizado fue la Lista de Chequeo de Habilidades Sociales de Goldstein (1978), pero adaptada al Perú por Tomás Ambrosio (1994 -1995). La muestra estuvo constituida por 54 alumnos de ambos sexos, cuyas edades fluctúan entre 12 y 17 años, se utilizó un muestreo censal. Entre los resultados se tuvo que tuvo un 44.44 % corresponde a un nivel “Deficiente” y un 14.81 % corresponde a un nivel “Bajo”, con respecto a las habilidades sociales. En los siguientes IV factores, se muestran estos mismos resultados; por ello se realiza un programa de intervención con el propósito e intención de poder acrecentar los resultados de manera positiva en los alumnos en dicha institución.

The concurrent study of descriptive type and non-experimental design, aims to define the level of social skills in high school students of a particular educational institution of San Juan de Lurigancho. The instrument used was the Checklist of Social Skills of Goldstein (1978), but adapted to Peru by Tomás Ambrosio (1994 -1995). The sample consisted of 54 students of both sexes, whose ages fluctuate between 12 and 17 years, a census sampling was used. Among the results we had 44.44% corresponding to a "Deficient" level and 14.81% corresponds to a "Low" level, with respect to social skills. In the following IV factors, these same results are shown; therefore, an intervention program is carried out with the purpose and intention of being able to increase the results in a positive way in the students in said institution
