The nurse assumes care as the axis and objective of the profession that demands professionalism and commitment expressed in the identity and quality of their care¸ whose quality is given through the use of the nursing process (PAE), considered as the application of the method scientific applied to professional practice; is a tool that allows to organize the work of nursing for the provision of the well-founded, logical and systematic care through the use of opinions, knowledge and skills to diagnose and treat the human responses of the user / patient and evaluate each of the changes in the improvement of the welfare state of real or potential identified problems; that is why, when applying the Nursing Process in the post-operative patient's care by laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the post anesthetic recovery unit of the Regional Hospital of Ayacucho, which allowed to fulfill actions such as the identification of their psychological and sociological physiological needs, and in this way, implement their individualized care based on different knowledge, in order to maintain health, prevent and avoid complications of the patient during the postsurgical recovery stage, understanding that this process can cause complications with repercussions on the health of the person, for the characteristic of surgery that produces injury; where the capacities (cognitive, procedural and attitudinal) of the nursing professional determine the minimization of risks in the surgical patient.
