Ideación suicida en jóvenes estudiantes de la CEPRE Carlos Cueto Fernandini del distrito de Comas, durante el periodo 2019

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene por objetivo determinar el nivel de ideación suicida en jóvenes estudiantes de la CEPRE Carlos Cueto Fernandini del distrito de Comas, durante el periodo 2019. El estudio corresponde a una investigación de tipo descriptiva, de nivel básica y con un enfoque cuantitativo. El diseño de la investigación es no experimental, de corte transversal. La muestra poblacional está conformada por 35 estudiantes, con edades comprendidas entre 16 y 23 años, pertenecientes a la CEPRE del Instituto Superior Tecnológico Público Carlos Cueto Fernandini, del distrito de Comas, de la ciudad de Lima Metropolitana. La técnica empleada fue la encuesta y el instrumento utilizado para la recolección de datos fue la Escala de Ideación Suicida de Beck (ISB). Se establece como conclusión que los jóvenes estudiantes de la CEPRE Carlos Cueto Fernandini presentan una tendencia baja hacia la ideación suicida representada por el 57%, en tanto que el 43% presenta una tendencia moderada. Si bien la tendencia moderada no está en el porcentaje más alto, se observa que está representada por un número considerable de jóvenes que en algún momento de su vida han pensado en quitarse la vida, situación que es alarmante puesto que la ideación suicida es el principal eslabón de la cadena que conlleva al suicidio consumado.

The objective of this research is to determine the level of suicidal ideation in young students of the CEPRE Carlos Cueto Fernandini in the district of Comas, during the period 2019. The study corresponds to a descriptive, basic level research with a quantitative approach. The research design is non-experimental, cross-sectional. The population sample consists of 35 students, aged between 16 and 23 years, belonging to the CEPRE of the Carlos Cueto Fernandini Higher Technological Institute, Comas district, in the city of Metropolitan Lima. The technique used was the survey and the instrument used for data collection was the Beck Suicidal Ideation Scale (ISB). It is established as conclusion that: The young students of the CEPRE Carlos Cueto Fernandini present a low tendency toward suicidal ideation represented by 57%, while 43% present a moderate tendency. While the moderate trend is not in the highest percentage, it is observed that it is represented by a considerable number of young people who at some point in their lives have thought about taking their own lives, a situation that is alarming since suicidal ideation is the main one. link in the chain that leads to consummated suicide.
