The study aims to determine the relationship between lifestyles and nutritional status in patients aged 18 to 60 years served in the practice of medicine, Hospital Sergio Bernales, Lima, 2019. Descriptive method quantitative and Correlational design, application level. The sample was 181 patients. The questionnaire was used as instrument to lifestyles. Collection of data for nutritional status. The reliability of cronbach's alpha was 0.845. Findings in relation to lifestyle 41.44% have a medium level. The 42.54% practice a healthy lifestyle means. And the 43.33% practicing an unhealthy lifestyle. The 60.77% were males, 39.23% women. The 10.50% presented under weight, the 50.83% have ideal body weight, the 22.10% are overweight, the 16.57% have obesity. Conclusion there is a relation significantly between the variables according to the correlation of spearman of 0.649 represents a result moderate with a statistical significance of (p = 0.001). Recommendations to the leadership of nursing to strengthen prevention and promotion of good practices of healthy lifestyles strategies for maintaining an adequate nutritional status together with the multidisciplinary team.
