The purpose of this study is to determine the level of personality traits in patients applying for a certificate of disability in a Public Health Center of the Cercado de Lima District. The non-experimental, quantitative scope of a descriptive type. We analyzed the patients who claim disability certificate in the period from November 2018 to January 2019, and consists of 44 patients, whose ages fluctuate between 20 and 80 years of age, for this the Eysenck-Revised Personality Questionnaire was used. (EPQ-R) adapted in Lima by Dominguez, Villegas, Yauri, Aravena and Ramirez (2013). The validity and reliability presented a global internal consistency of the dimensions of the personality questionnaire (83 items), highlighting a 0.827 in the Neuroticism dimension, showing high reliability as well as the extraversion dimension with 0.785. On the other hand, he observed that the psychoticism dimension presented a reliability of, 0528, being accepted for basic type investigations. (Luján, 2017). The results showed that the study population, is characterized by a low level of 40.9%, personality trait, indicating that patients have a tendency to be insensitive, inhuman, antisocial, violent, aggressive. On the other hand, 11.4% is obtained as a result of a high level.
