The objective of this academic research was determine the relationship that exist between the promotion of the health and the prevention of parasitic disease on children under five years old at Carlos Protzel Health Center - 2019. The research had a quantitative type, the method was descriptive and correlational, besides, the design was non experimental. The study sample consisted by 81 patients. In addition, it has been used the questionnaire as an instrument, which it had a reliability and validity of 0.848 and 0.842 respectively. The results showed that the 6.2% of the mothers who have children under 5 years old have a bad perception of the health, the 28.4% regular level and the 65.4% a good perception. Additionally, the 8.6% of the mothers who has children under 5 years old have a bad perception of parasitic disease, the 23.5% a regular and the 67.9% a good one. So, it concluded that the promotion of the health affect significatively with the prevention of parasitic disease, according with the correlation of Rho Spearman of 0.951, it suggested to the nurse who is in the charge of the development and growth program at Carlos Protzel Health Center to implement a plan that is for the mothers who have children under 5 years old, because in this way it will help to decrease opportunistic diseases such as parasitic diseases and improve the health status of children.
