This research aimed to determine the influence of major bureaucratic barriers in the development of cosmetics market in Peru, 2013-2014. Regarding the methodological aspects of work: The research was explicative and the applied level. The study had a population of 62 cosmetic products marketing companies of Lima, consisting of manufacturers, traders, distributors, licensees, wholesalers and holders brand cosmetics and personal hygiene products belonging to COPECOH. Due to the small size of the population and access that has the cosmetic companies, the sample was the entire population, ie 62 companies belonging to COPECOH. To which we applied the instrument consisted 14 questions, using Likert scale with multiple choice alternatives. We proceeded to analyze the results, then the hypothesis testing was performed using the statistical test known as Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. Finally, it was found that the main bureaucratic barriers negatively influence the development of the cosmetics market in Peru, 2013-2014.
