The Peruvian Civil Code states that any person who has owned a real estate peacefully, publicly, continuously and as an owner, for 5 or 10 years, can claim the property title of the property. This way of acquiring the property is called : Acquisition prescription of domain or usucapion. The general objective of the research work was to demonstrate whether the acquisitive prescription of ownership affects the right to property in the notary.
