Cuidado de enfermería en paciente neonato prematuro con hipoglicemia

Abstract

El presente trabajo académico se desarrolló, teniendo como objetivo la aplicación del proceso del cuidado de enfermería; en pacientes neonatos prematuros con hipoglicemia; aplicando el método científico en el área asistencial. Describiendo, además, las bases teóricas de Virginia Henderson en donde enmarca los modelos de las necesidades humanas; las mismas que se aplicaron en la identificación de datos. Prematuridad, se define como el nacimiento antes de las 37 semanas de gestación. La hipoglicemia neonatal ocurre cuando falla el proceso normal de adaptación metabólica después del nacimiento y la sepsis se caracteriza por la presencia de signos y síntomas de infección sistémica.

The current academical work was developed having as objective the application of the process of nursing care; in newborn premature patients with hypoglycemia, applying the scientific method in the health care area. Describing, besides, the Virginia Henderson theory grounding where the human necessities models are framed; the same ones that were applied in the data identification. Prematurity is defined as the birth before 37 weeks of the gestation period. The newnatal hypoglycemia occurs when the normal process of metabolic adaptation fails after the birth and the sepsis is characterized for the signs and symptoms of systematic infection presence
