The research presented aims to determine the level of impulsivity in the 1st to the 3rd year high school students of the IE "Isaac Newton School - Barranca - Lima Province, during the period 2019. We opted for a design not experimental cross-section, of the descriptive type and with a quantitative approach according to the handling of the data. The population is made up of 52 students between women and men enrolled in the I.E Isaac Newton - Barranca - Lima Province. We worked with a sample of 40 students from 1st to the 3rd year of high school. The technique used to collect the information was the survey and the instrument used was the Barrat Impulsivity Scale (BIS-11). The results obtained in the dimension cognitive impulsivity is of average level in 75%, for the motor impulsivity dimension it is of low level with 68% for the dimension of unplanned impulsivity is of average level with 57%. It is established as a conclusion that the impulsiveness in the students of 1st to the 3rd year of high school is of average level in 50%, due to the characteristic of the students that is moderately uncontrollable, not allowing them to reflect on the consequences that can bring your acts.
