Actividad diurética del extracto etanólico de las hojas de matico (buddleja globosa) en ratas

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación fue demostrar el potencial diurético del extracto etanólico de las hojas de Matico (Buddleja globosa) en ratas. El diseño metodológico estimo que la muestra vegetal fuera recolectada en la provincia de Castovirreyna departamento de Huancavelica. La identificación taxonómica de Matico (Buddleja globosa), se realizó en el museo de historia natural (UNMSM), la obtención del extracto etanólico, empleó el Método de Olga Lock Sing de Ugaz. El tamizaje fitoquímico de metabolitos secundarios y el screen cromatografico, usó el método de Domínguez. Para la actividad diurética se adquirió 25 ratas machos, con una masa corporal de 250 – 350 g, en el Instituto Nacional de Salud (IN). Para actividad diurética se empleó el método de Naik y col, modificado por Saravia. Se recolectó muestras de orina cada hora después de haber administrado los tratamientos. Se observaron en una probeta los mililitros de orina miccionada después de 6 horas de aplicar las sustancias experimentales, los datos son recopilados en una ficha ad doc. Resultados: La concentración del extracto etanólico de de matico (Buddleja globosa) al 12%, demostró un incremento el volumen de orina, este dato fue muy relevante ya que los valores están muy cercanos a la furosemida (20mg/kg) que fue el medicamento control. El control negativo fue agua destilada. Las otras concentraciones también mostraron un incremento en el volumen de orina en comparación al blanco. Se concluyó que el extracto etanólico de Matico (Buddleja globosa), posee actividad diurética en ratas albinas y puede ser un tratamiento concomitante en pacientes que padecen de edema

This investigation evaluated the diuretic activity of the ethanol extract of the leaves of Matico (Buddleja globosa) in rats. The vegetal sample is collected in the province of Castovirreyna department of Huancavelica.
