This doctoral research aimed to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and post-COVID-19 organizational commitment of the collaborators of a Private University in Trujillo in 2023 and, in order to do so, a quantitative approach was used, as well as the type of basic research and simple correlational non-experimental research design, selecting a sample of 240 collaborators from a population of 615, 2 questionnaires were applied to measure emotional intelligence (EI) and organizational commitment (OC) during the year 2023. The results were divided into 2 parts: descriptive analysis and inferential analysis; the first showed that for the EI level it was qualitatively valued as ""Medium"" with a representation of 84.22% and the OC level was valued as ""Intermediate"" with a representation of 65.8% of those who participated in this doctoral study; Regarding the second, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test demonstrated that the data collected for each variable did not follow a normal distribution, so to determine the relationship between these variables a non-parametric statistical test Spearman's Rho was used (with a p-value of 0.644) which helped to conclude that there is no relationship between the study variables within the University
