Abstract The present investigation arises from the interest of reflecting on what has been developed to date on the sacred territory and its importance in the EIB primary school. The research reviews information about the importance of ancestral knowledge in eib education in Peru, the way it incorporates ancestral knowledge and the concepts it develops of the sacred territory. This work is focused on the theme of beings of darkness. the (suq'a) one of the Andean mythological beings that has caught our attention because through him we can recover respect for the sacred. We believe that this work will help other teachers and students about the Andean territory and develop the theme of the territory from a perspective that understands the beings of darkness as complementarity and recognize in a mutual coexistence of respect.
