Abstract This investigative document arises from the need to propose more didactic strategies for teaching a second language. The main cause for proposing or seeking this strategy was because of what was observed, interviewed and diagnosed the level of literacy of girls and boys in the educational institution of Coyllorpuquio. The interviews were carried out with the teachers and parents of the educational community in order to know the context and their perspectives on this topic (The literacy of the students), following the bases and criteria of the MINEDU and others, these helped us to identify the main reasons for children's literacy deficiency. The diagnoses show us the shortcomings and difficulties in specific abilities (spelling deficiency as well as poor writing), the result was reached that children need more support and motivating strategies to improve or strengthen the ability and ability to read and write in a better way, in addition to prioritizing and focusing on this need that the children needed urgently because they worked with children from 4th, 5th and 6th grade of primary school shortly after finishing and going on to secondary school. As a result, it has been possible to apply 3 applications for 2 months (October - November), ABC Pocoyo Adventure, which has made it easier for children to strengthen their writing, fixing the spellings correctly of the entire alphabet. The My Magic Book application that helped reading and writing with the combination of syllables, the relationship of words with the image, readings and pronunciation of letters and the Gynzy virtual whiteboard that helped in writing local stories, manipulation of digital words and correction of short texts whose evidence has been demonstrated in the images shown in the results. The children's appreciation was obtained that they really like the applications proposed for the improvement and strengthening of reading and writing since they consider that they learn like playing and that they prefer to reinforce reading and writing in this way. Keywords: Literacy, information and communication technologies, digital applications, didactic strategies
