The title of this thesis is “Digital skills and study habits in students of the Faculty of Systems and Computer Engineering in a Private University of Lima- 2019. The main objective of the investigation is to determine the relationship between the variables From study, we understand digital skills to the ability to safely use information and communication technologies to solve some kind of task and / or problem. On the other hand, we understand the study habits as the set of techniques that the student uses to learn in a certain time. The present investigation was carried out in the Faculty of Systems and Computer Engineering in a Private University of Lima, with a sample of 62 students of the II Cycle of the aforementioned Faculty, the quantitative approach was applied, with descriptive correlational level and with design transversal, applying two surveys with alternatives like Likert, getting to demonstrate the research hypothesis; that is to say that there is a significant relationship between digital competences and study habits in students of the Faculty of Systems and Computer Engineering at a Private University of Lima- 2019, showing a direct and significant relationship when obtaining a value of 0.997 (Correlation very strong positive), and a level of significance of p < ,05. Which means that students currently use their digital skills to achieve meaningful learning.
