The purpose of the work is to determine the amount of solar thermal energy accumulated in the bed of stone which can be applied in nurseries or homes to improve thermal comfort in an energy-efficient manner. The bed has a dimension of 0.81m * 0.81m * 0.24m which contains a total of 86.3 kg of stones; for the measurements of the temperature in the bed the thermocouple type k was used and for the solar radiation the pyranometer, this one works in a range of 0 to 2000 W/m2, all the data sent by these sensors arrive at the data acquisition instrument to be operated later by a computer. The average bed temperature was 55.95°C, while the interior temperature of the stone at its maximum point was 75°C. With the data obtained by means of experimental measurements, the specific heat of the stone for 1 kg was calculated, giving us 0.11 Kcal/Kg/°C. The method used to calculate the specific heat of the stone and to calculate the thermal capacity of the bed is the principle of thermodynamics, the amount of energy accumulated in the bed of stone containing 86.3 kg of stones is 1686863.28 Joule for 4,483 hours. For an environment of 245.31 m3 it requires 864000 joule per hour therefore 198.23 kg of stones are needed
