This research examines the influence of teaching method of problem-based learning in the development of general skills in vocational training in the Basic Physics II course at the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Technological University of Perú, Lima. In researching the data collection instrument of pre test and post test comprising 49 items and describes 8 steps Based Learning applied in teaching physics course II was used. Students respond to each item by marking an " X" in a three-point scale , whereas number 1 meant the student "NO" has knowledge , number 2 meant the student "Sometimes " has knowledge and number 3 meant that the student "YES" is aware . The data were processed using the SPSS statistical software and analysis of internal consistency with the items for each of the eight stages of Project Based Learning was made. In the analysis of pre test and post test, the Cronbach alpha coefficient which indicates the degree of reliability of the application of the eight stages of Project Based Learning the result was equal to 0.792, indicating that the value of Cronbach's alpha is valid. The data were also analyzed with the non parametric test of the eight stages of Problem Based Learning, whose acceptable values are less than 0.05 which shows that there is contrast between the pre test and post test. Finally, the results of this investigation were consistent in the sense of a valid and reliable for measuring the implementation of Problem Based Learning tool in capacity building in the students of the course Physics II have been achieved.
