This Thesis describes the design and implementation of a 4 GDL robotic prototype with the purpose of contributing to practical education and coping with the great technological revolution. The design is carried out using a methodological guide that emerged from the integration between the VDI 2206 methodology as an integral vision for the analysis and development of the main disciplines that make up mechatronic engineering and the Design Thinking methodology as a tool for the identification of the problem in their different contexts The investigation begins with the background, obtaining the necessary information to understand the problem and thus arrive at a prototype design that manages to comply with the list of requirements set by the objectives. The robotic prototype presented is low cost and on a smaller scale compared to one at the industrial level. Previously, it has been analyzed, formulated and simulated based on the four representative models of the system at its different levels of abstraction and using SolidWorks software as a design tool for the analysis and study of CAD / CAE technologies, obtaining a versatile design, Practical and with well-founded specifications. After formulating the mathematical expressions, the graphic simulation of the variables involved using the MatLab program is shown. Finally, the elaboration of the mechanical and electronic plans is presented, which are contrasted with the implementation of the prototype showing satisfactory results.
