As time goes by, ICTs have evolved in terms of their implementation in security through biometric means and, thanks to this, they have managed to automate or improve the processes that imply their use. In this case, being able to automate access control and user identification as an improvement to the security of many institutions or companies. The Guadalupana Association does not currently have access control to identify all users who enter its facilities generating various problems including theft, loss of information and identity theft. This research work addresses the problem and through the application of technological tools to solve it. To achieve this result, a fingerprint reader will be used together with the application of a web platform. This will provide greater security both in the workers and in the associates that enter the Guadalupana Association and can mitigate the aforementioned problems. For the realization of the project a qualitative methodology was applied for the collection of the information where it was possible to analyze and know how to approach the problem. The methodology for the investigation was scrum due to the size of the project and the time available. On the other hand, the XP programming methodology was applied for development, I feel this is an agile methodology. Finally, the programming language will be PHP with the MVC development pattern and a MySQL database manager. It should be noted that this project will only reach the design phase.
