The general objective of this research is to determine what is the impact of the credibility of Instagram fashion influencers on millennial consumers in Metropolitan Lima, 2021. The methodology used in the thesis is quantitative approach, applied type, where the level is descriptive - correlational and the design of the study is non-experimental - cross-sectional; constitute the study population, the millennial women who live in Metropolitan Lima, being a population of 1 666 596 people, a probabilistic sample of 384 millennial women living in Metropolitan Lima was used; the technique that was applied to collect the data was the survey, through two questionnaires validated by expert judgment. Two questionnaires were developed with 15 questions each on the Likert scale to measure both the independent variable: credibility of Instagram fashion influencers, as well as the dependent variable: millennial consumers of Metropolitan Lima. To test the hypothesis, a scatterplot was developed, which resulted in a very strong degree of correlation between the variables under study, yielding a Spearman ho = 0.880. In addition, nonparametric tests were also used being the bilateral level of significance: p = 0.000 < 0.5 so the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternate hypothesis was accepted, concluding that the credibility of Instagram fashion influencers generate a significant impact on millennial consumers of Metropolitan Lima, 2021.
