Currently, the main cause of occupational accidents is the sub-standard acts, which is why the objective of the present research work is to evaluate the risks of sub-standard acts in high-altitude works in order to propose control measures, to minimize them. For the identification of the sub-standard acts, the simulation of the height works was carried out by means of the Unity C # Method which renders images of the work area, results were obtained thanks to the Check List tool where the company's standards are listed, achieving identify a total of 31 substandard acts having as a sample a total of 10 workers that are directly related to the activity, thus demonstrating that of the 100% of standards for work at height, 34% are diverted by the workers, thus creating a latent risk for their health and facilities, thus the need arises to propose control measures to reduce the probability of an accident happening. Finally, the proposals for control measures were made and elaborated using the Scat Table tool which suggests the following: Staff training program, standards for personal protection equipment and regulatory compliance effort, it should be noted that these control measures have been based on the substandard acts that were most frequently identified.
