The research seeks to describe the influence of the reward system on the work performance of the employee of an outsourcing company. Descriptive research with a correlational level is used for the study. The population and sample are composed of 62 employees, and a questionnaire with 10 items for each study variable is used for data collection. The measurement instrument focuses on 5 dimensions of the reward system and 5 dimensions of the work performance variable. By means of statistical applications, a positive mean correlation of the reward system with job performance is demonstrated (Spearman's Rho ρ=0.501 and a p-value of 0.000). Likewise, a considerable positive relationship of the dimensions salary and rewards with performance is highlighted, on the other hand a positive average correlation of social benefits, professional security, and supervision with the variable job performance. The results lead to the conclusion that there is an average relationship between the research variables, which indicates that some of the rewards studied are not so decisive in generating high levels of performance.
