The expression of the model of competencies of safe behavior "CCS" evaluating the basic causes of substandard acts in the temporary space 2016 - 2018 of the company VD Lab. SAC, includes the study of two technical competences to be able to behave safely and know how to behave safely and a human competence to want to behave safely with a descriptive research in a pre-test post-test design with a single group; The sample considers 83 workers, out of a population of 105. The results show that the average accident rate for the pre-test period is 11.51, it has been reduced to 5.06 in the post-test period; the average severity index of the pre-test period is 192.63, it has been reduced to 144.72 in the post-test period; and the average of the frequency index of the pre-test period is 60.35, it has been reduced to 43.58 in the post-test period; As a conclusion, it is indicated that the evaluation of the basic causes of substandard acts has allowed to implement a model of safe behavior competencies that has reduced the average of the accident rates, severity and frequency by 56.04%, 40.45% and 27.79% respectively.
