The present research work aims to describe the development of digital culture and informational competence from the perceptions of user trainers of the teacher training program of a Private University in Lima, in the period 2020-I.The participants were 10 user trainers who were interviewed virtually, the methodology used develops the qualitative approach, with a descriptive scope and phenomenological design. The results found in the present research work show that the application of each of the categories of digital culture in user trainers is not applied in its entirety, delaying the development timeframe of the categories of informational competence in teachers. It is concluded that in the area of user trainers they develop digital culture in an incipient way, because they use digital tools, materials and practices in their functions, however little knowledge has been evidenced in the categories of agile methodologies and measurement frameworks. Regarding informational competence, there is a good level of knowledge that is transmitted to teachers in a progressive way that could be further enhanced if the digital culture is fully developed.
