In recent years, the characteristics of the teacher have evolved, so much so that now we not only speak of a born trainer, but also the teacher is distinguished as a leader who, from the classroom, manages to propose significant pedagogical actions impact on the learning of their students. The main objective of this research was to explain how teaching leadership contributes to academic satisfaction, from the perspective of the students of the second cycle of the master's degree in university teaching and educational management of a private university in Lima, during the period 2020 -I The study was qualitative, explanatory, phenomenological and based on a sample of 10 students from a master's program. The results showed that teacher leadership contributes to academic satisfaction and also recognized methodology, motivation and emotional development as characteristics of the teacher leader.It is concluded that the leadership of teachers in the master's program, through learning experiences, contributes to academic satisfaction.
