At present, mining activity generates a high impact on the economy of the country and the region, as well as on the level of sustainable development of society; but at the same time it implies a high risk for safety, being the economic activity that generates more accidents at work in the year; causing negative consequences for families, society, the economy, for business, and for the state.Among the forms of accident occurrence, the most frequent is that of blows by objects such as hand or portable tools; as well as the use of work equipment as machinery in circulation; in addition to the detachment or fall of rocks.Among the causes of accidents, some factors can be mentioned, such as partial compliance with occupational health and safety regulations; and it includes the failures in the supervision and effective control in the application of the same in the day to day.It has been identified that the root cause of the different problems of mining safety is the human resource little committed to behaviors and behaviors relevant to the issue of safety; acting many times in an insecure manner or performing dangerous actions; and that is due to a lack of safety culture in the organization and in the workers.The lack of safety culture in the mining industry is due to the training that is carried out; It has not been proposed to educate and train the human resource in a profound way, making it little committed to creating a safe environment and culture in the organization. Therefore, the implementation of neurolinguistic programming strategies in mining safety training programs is proposed to generate significant changes in the way learning is achieved; and contribute to the strengthening of the safety culture.Based on the foregoing, this research aims to design and implement a training program based on neurolinguistic programming strategies to improve accident rates in the company CorporationLACES S.A.C. Arequipa in the year 2019
