The purpose of this study is to analyze the project belonging to the Energy and Electric Sector: "Overhead / Underground Transmission Line Set Mariátegui - Set Mirador"; developed by the contractor company G&C for the client ENEL; focusing on identifying the risk elements determined within the project and their relationship with security management; efforts that were characterized by strict planning; However, it was not exempt from those events and events that deviated from the plans, as well as the estimated projections and which led to various changes throughout its life and execution cycle. To carry out the study, various information inputs were used, including policies, programs, records, procedures and documents in general, and tools such as interviews, focus groups, questionnaires and surveys were used. The study shows a quantitative approach, descriptive scope, non-experimental cross-sectional design and a type of causal-correlational transactional design. He focused on a set of 28 key project stakeholders among specialists from the contractor G&C, Chau Contractors, ENEL, SGS and the community, including supervisors, inspectors, engineers, site residents and community leaders. As a result of the analysis of the results, it was evidenced that the relationship between Risk Management and Project Safety Management is direct and strong and a model was proposed to manage the Project's safety risks that incorporates: of a Risk Breakdown structure to manage and assign those responsible and owners of the risk, as well as the response to risks.
