This research work refers to a production and assembly company of telescopic stretchers in which the working method and the appropriate procedures were established to improve productivity within the assembly area through the application of time study so that This way, the times in the assembly process can be improved and the company generates greater benefits since currently all the activities related to this process are carried out with one hundred (100%) percent of the workers' workforce since There is no automated process. This leads to the stretchers being assembled with an extensive time; This is why the observations were established in the month of September and the results in the month of October, in the first month there were problems in the distribution of the assembly area. The population is considered to be the activities that are developed in this process and the indicators linked to productivity: efficiency and effectiveness. The tools used in this research work were Ishikawa, Process Diagram, Layout, among others. The results of the project will demonstrate that, with the application of the study of times, an improvement in productivity is achieved, as well as in the indicators related to this variable. Finally, reference will be made to the conclusions of the application of the proposal and the recommendations to be followed that contribute to the improvement of the assembly process.
