In this research called: "Optimization of the utility by reducing the deviation in the rotopercussive drilling of horizontal drills of the company Geodrill SAC", a general objective based on the optimization of the utility that currently has the company Geodrill SAC is reflected. The methodology applied in the research is of quantitative approach and exploratory research method, with experimental research design; because, there is a hypothesis whose study population are the drills drilled in the year 2019, these were studied in order to reduce the excessive deviation and improve the utility of the company Geodrill SAC; Also, it was necessary to implement the following, instruments of greater precision for the leveling of the machine, a tripod to support the weight of the beco pipe for the start of drilling and staff training on identification of DTH drilling parameters, which brought an improvement to the perceived utility increasing from 25% to 43% in the post test drills from the months of November to December; finally through this research seeks to motivate the interest of students and professionals in the area of rotopercussive drilling.
