In the implementation of the monitoring system for the reduction of accidents in fuel transportation on the Mollendo -MMG Las Bambas route, the hazards to which operators are exposed when transporting fuel were identified, as well as their risks to said activities; A tool that was key to support the identification of hazards and risk assessment was the CoPilot Professional software, which determines the speed at which the fuel tanks travel and classifies unnecessary speed increases in driving as a sub-standard act. . Based on the aforementioned analysis, controls were implemented in line with the worker's need for safety; such as a training program, an incentive plan for the worker for his good safety practices, a plan for active breaks during the fuel transport route, inspections to verify the condition of the driver's unit. The general objective of this research is to implement a monitoring system to reduce accident rates in the fuel transportation process, applying plans and a program to reduce accidents, where a descriptive-correlational methodology was developed, which allowed to implement software andalso analyze the accident rates by the level of severity of the accidents and also the days lost for each accident that causes disability in the workers. The work is constituted by an analysis carried out to the frequency, severity and accident rates in 2018 of the company under study, determining the existing shortcomings in that year, identified dangers and evaluated risks for the driver's job position. fuel transportation, hand in hand with the analysis of the information provided by the monitoring system; subsequently, the controls described above were implemented, and the comparison of the frequency, severity and accident rates in the 2019 season ends; verifying that the latter decreased by 5.44 percent, therefore a timeline of improvement can be seen between the years 2018 -2019, opening an initial field of study in the company for continuous improvement in the following years.
