This report of professional sufficiency, with the title of "Implementation of the volume measurement system of a fuel tank of the Mollendo terminal to integrate it to the inventory control system, district of Mollendo -department of Arequipa", in whose development It is contemplated to specify a main objective, to implement a system for measuring the volume of a fuel tank to integrate it into an inventory control system. The volume measurement system consists of performing static volumetric evaluations of the liquid contained in the tank through level and temperature measurement, the result of which will be visualized in the instrumentation implemented in the field and reflected in the monitoring panel located in the control room. For the implementation of the tank volume measurement system, the information gathering of the existing facilities was carried out, as well as the communication protocols, the analysis of the use of appropriate technologies that comply with the existing communication protocol and the requirements issued by the client. The investment project design is constituted by the elaboration of diagrams and plans of the different disciplines involved in the project, likewise this project concludes with the implementation of the elaborated designs. According to the engineering carried out, it is concluded that with the investment project carried out, a system for measuring the volume of a fuel tank can be implemented, optimizing resources and existing facilities. thus increasing the fuel storage capacity at the Mollendo terminal.
