The objective of the investigation is to describe how Institutional management contributes to the attention of the special educational needs of the students of a private institute in Lima in the academic period of 2020-II. The population was made up of 30 students from the administration career of the fourth cycle of a private institute in Lima, where the sample was conformed by 10 students with special educational needs. The research approach was qualitative, the scope was descriptive, and the design was phenomenological. For data collection, the interview technique was used and the tool to be used was an interview guide. Regarding the institutional management variable, we can identify that, according to the perception of the students, there must be a constant improvement capacity of the teacher; There must be better communication between the institution and the students. Finally, the academic spaces are perceived as adequate based on their needs. With regard to the variable special educational needs, it can be identified that the participants perceive the care provided as regular, however personal skills such as patience, tolerance and empathy are not applied at the time of the student's interaction with the institution. It is concluded that, according to the vision of the students, the performance of the institutional management is adequate at the time of providing support to the student. It can be emphasized that the preparation and order of the processes is positive, but it is taken into account that the application and treatment between the institutional staff and the student should greatly improve in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and empathy. Students feel satisfied with the work of the teacher but greater interest should be given to the support that is given to the student.
