The general objective of the present research work is to describe how the virtual classroom permits the identification of risk factors for postpartum haemorrhage among the students of the Ginecology-obstetrics course in a private University from Lima 2021-I. The sample is made up of2 professors and 13 students from the twelfth semester. The methodology used is a quality approach, descriptive scope and phenomenological design. The data was collected through an in-depth interview with unstructured questions, where professors and students ‘experiences were collected about the use of the virtual classroom as an instrumentduring the teaching-learning process in the identification of factors that predispose the postpartum haemorrhage. The results have shownthat the teaching-learning experiences through the virtual classroom have been impacted by the mandatory quarantine due to the Covid-19, showing, on one hand, that the knowledge has been limited due to the lack of communication, in situ practices that the course requires and the form in which the professors faced adversities in a more intuitive way rather than methodological. On the other hand, the handlingof the organised and selected information has had favourable attitudes. It is concluded that due to the sudden switch from face to face lessons to virtual ones regarded the pandemic, generated new teaching-learning needs that could not have been covered fully affecting the new knowledge acquisition in the identification of factors that predispose the postpartum haemorrhage. The interest of the professors and learners in overcoming adversities and the willingness to learn autonomously with the help of the proposed facilities in the virtual classroom is validated.
