The objective of this research was to determine the associative capacity of the small native potato farmers of the Populated Center of Taramba, Santa María de Chicmo district, Andahuaylas, Apurímac - 2018. It is an investigation of: quantitative approach, application level, descriptive scope, design non-experimental, field and transversal. According to the number of variables, it is univariable because it studies the conditions of the associative capacity variable. The study was conducted in a census population of 105 native potato farmers. To obtain field information the use of the data collection technique was the survey using the questionnaire instrument. As for the reliability statistics (Cronbach's alpha) of the instrument, it reported an index of 0.852, which means that the measuring instrument is reliable, of good internal consistency, that is, of high reliability. On the other hand, regarding the associative capacity of the small native potato farmers, it was concluded that 80% of the respondents presented an associative capacity of medium-high level, indicating that there is good availability for the association in the Center populated and that therefore could work to build more collaborative work. We also analyzed each of its dimensions, reaching the following conclusions: Regarding productive management, it has been found that 54.3% have a medium-low level, which means that a little more than half of the farmers in issue operate with a production capacity that is not optimal, but is below the expected minimum. Likewise, only 52.4% of respondents show a high level of organizational management while 39% are of medium-high level, which indicates that there is a slight majority that adequately coordinates the various work activities with the considerable participation of the comuneros and finally, regarding the commercial articulation, it has been found that 80% of the native potato producers are in medium-high level, which expresses that the predominant majority of the farmers are willing to receive training and associate with the neighbors of the community to improve their production and income.
