The investigation of the “Influence of the Illumination Level on the effects of nighttime turnicity on the workers of the company CERTIMIN S.A Arequipa - 2019”, aims to identify the level of lighting to reduce the negative effects of nighttime turnicity. This research is of quantitative origin and presents the level of correlational and descriptive research; being the design of the quasi-experimental investigation, to measure and determine the appropriate level of illumination, an instrument called a luxmeter is required. A SHOLC, SHIFTWORK LOCUS OF CONTROL survey of workers of CERTIMIN S.A. is used to determine the effects of turnicality. For which a sample of 5 workers from different shifts was defined for this investigation, consisting of twenty questions to collect the information. The results confirm that the level of lighting presented by the organization is poor since it night shift the minimum of 60.8 lux and the maximum that exceeds in 1252 lux in the night shift, so this would be a very important factor for the existence of the negative effects of the turnicity put there are workers exposed to low levels of lighting. Applying the treatment that consists in increasing the level of lighting up to 150 lux per work area, helped us to determine that good lighting brings positive consequences and one of them is to combat the negative effects of turnicity.
