The general objective was to establish the relationship between digital competence, burnout and organizational commitment in educators from private universities in the context of COVID-19. For this, a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational design was used. The sampling was intentional non-probabilistic. The sample consisted of 274 teachers, between men and women aged 30 to 65, and belonging to private universities. The instruments were the Teaching Digital Competences Questionnaire, the Revised Teacher Burnout Questionnaire and the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire. Among the results, it was found that there is a significant relationship between the variables: there is a negative and statistically significant relationship between digital competence and burnout; In other words, the greater the presence of burnout, the lower the digital competence and vice versa. A negative and statistically significant relationship was found between burnout and organizational commitment, which means that a greater presence of burnout will be associated with a lower degree of commitment in the organization, and vice versa. And a positive and statistically significant relationship was found between digital competence and organizational commitment, that is, the greater the digital competence, the greater the degree of organizational commitment of teachers. The implications of the findings regarding the relevance they have for teaching performance and their impact on the training of future professionals in the context of COVID-19 are analyzed.
