Actitud frente a la investigación científica y las competencias investigativas de los estudiantes de universidades privadas de Lima

Abstract

Esta investigación tuvo como propósito determinar la relación entre la actitud frente a la investigación científica y las competencias investigativas de los estudiantes de universidades privadas de Lima. El diseño fue no experimental, transversal y correlacional no causal. El muestreo fue no probabilístico y la muestra lo constituyeron 97 estudiantes de universidades privadas de la ciudad de Lima; estos fueron mayores de 18 años de edad, de ambos sexos y pertenecientes a diversas facultades. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron la Escala para Medir Actitudes hacia la Investigación (EACIN) de Aldana, Caraballo y Babativa y la Escala de Evaluación de Competencias Investigativas (EECI) de Ortega y Jaik. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the attitude towards scientific research and the investigative competences of students from private universities in Lima. The design was non-experimental, cross-sectional, and non-causal correlational. The sampling was non-probabilistic and the sample was made up of 97 students from private universities in the city of Lima; these were older than 18 years of age, of both sexes and belonging to various faculties. The instruments used were the Scale to Measure Attitudes towards Research (EACIN) by Aldana, Caraballo and Babativa and the Scale of Evaluation of Investigative Competences (EECI) by Ortega and Jaik. It was found that the attitude towards scientific research and the research competences in the mentioned students have a direct, significant and low intensity relationship between these variables.
