Abstract: El objetivo general fue establecer la relación que existe entre el estrés laboral y la
autoeficacia docente en profesores de dos universidades privadas. El diseño
utilizado fue no experimental, transversal, correlacional no causal. La muestra
estuvo conformada por 207 profesores de dos universidades privadas. Los
instrumentos utilizados fueron el Inventario SISCO y la Escala de Autoeficacia
docente en el profesorado universitario. Entre los principales resultados se hallaron
que existe relación significativa entre estrés laboral y autoeficacia docente. Las
implicancias de los hallazgos han sido discutidas.
The general aim was to establish the relationship between work stress and selfefficacy in teachers of two private universities. The design used was nonexperimental, transversal and non-causal correlational. The sample was made up of 207 teachers from a private university. The instruments used were the SISCO and the Teaching Self-efficacy Scale in university teaching staff. Among the main results was found that there is a significant correlation between job stress and teacher self-efficacy at two private universities. The implications of the findings have already been discussed.
