The purpose of this work of professional sufficiency is to design a didactic proposal to improve learning in first grade high school students in the area of Personal Development, Citizenship and Civics in a private institution in Villa Maria del Triunfo, taking the socio-cognitive humanist paradigm as a learning model. For this reason, it is based on the Humanist Socio-cognitive Paradigm of: Jean Piaget, 7 David Ausubel and Jerome Bruner (cognitive), Lev Vygotsky and Reaven Feuerstein (social and cultural), Robert Sternberg and the three-dimensional theory of intelligence of Martiniano Román and Eloísa Diez. Contributing to the development of capacities, skills, values and attitudes to current education. In order to achieve the transformation of a more compassionate and better world, the integral formation of students implies contextualizing their learning through the construction of competencies and the experience of values in society. Therefore, the following work consists of three chapters; the first part develops the planning of the work, the second part contains the theoretical framework and the third part develops the curricular programming.
