This research work aimed to determine if there are differences between the attitudes of teachers from public and private educational institutions towards students with learning disabilities in the district of Surco. The descriptive comparative design was used. An intentional non-probabilistic sampling was carried out and a sample of 164 teachers was carried out, made up of 81 graduated teachers from public institutions of which 32 were men and 49 were women. Likewise, 83 qualified teachers from private institutions participated, of which 28 were men and 55 were women. whose ages fluctuated between 23 and 55 years. The instrument applied was the Scale of Attitudes Towards the Mother-Child Relationship (R. Roth) Arevalo (2005) adapted by Murga and Sandoval . The results obtained allowed us to conclude that there are statistically significant differences (t = 3.531, p = .001) in the teacher's attitudes towards students who have learning problems in educational institutions, both public and private in the district of Surco. Regarding the overindulgence dimension, it was found that there are no statistically significant differences. (t = 0.192, p = 0.848). In the acceptance dimension there are high statistically significant differences (t = 4.54, p = .001), as well as the rejection dimension where it was also found that there are high statistically significant differences (t = 4.364, p = .001). Finally, regarding the overprotection dimension, it was evidenced that there are no statistically significant differences. (t = 0.972, p = 0.332).
