The following work of professional sufficiency that is presented below, has the objective to formulate a proposal of curricular programming for the development of the competences of the area of mathematics in the students of the third year of secondary of a private educational institution in San Borja-Lima. For this proposal the work has been divided into three chapters. In the first chapter you will find the planning of the work, as well as the diagnosis of the Educational Institution, objectives, and justification. The second one called theoretical framework, will work on the different theoretical bases of the cognitive paradigm, with their respective representatives such as Piaget, Ausubel and Bruner; likewise the Socio-Cultural- Contextual paradigm, with Vygotsky and Feuerstein; in addition to intelligence theories with Sternberg, Martiniano Román and Eloísa Diez; to finish with the Sociocognitive-humanist paradigm. Finally, chapter three develops the general programming, with its respective definitions proposed by the Ministerio de Educación and the humanist socio-cognitive paradigm, as well as a learning unit with twelve learning sessions, in which the different capacities, skills, cognitive processes, values and attitudes are developed; then a learning project called "We recycle and make a vertical organic garden".
