The general objective of this research was to establish the relationship between coping with stress and aggression in drivers of a public transport company. The design was correlational. The sample consisted of 351 public transport drivers. The instruments used were the Carver Stress Coping Questionnaire and the Buss-Durkee Modified Aggression Questionnaire. The results indicated that there is a weak, positive and highly significant correlation between the variables of coping with stress and aggression in public transport drivers (Rho=.227; p<0.01). The calculated effect size was 5.15, suggesting a small proportion of shared variability. It is concluded that the relationship between the variables is weak.
