In this thesis, the structural design based on seismic performance will be carried out using the non-linear static analysis “Pushover“ of the Virgen de la Natividad Educational Institution, Carabamba District, Julcan Province, which consists of finding the capacity curve of the structure of the Classroom Module, applying incremental lateral loads until a failure mechanism is present, so that the design of the structure is capable of providing acceptable behavior for each level of earthquake that may occur during its useful life. This project will be carried out based on previous studies: Topography, Soil Mechanics Study and a defined architectural design. Subsequently, the structuring and pre-dimensioning of the structural elements were carried out and then idealized using a pseudo-three-dimensional model in the Etabs (superstructure) and Safe (roof slab and substructure) software. The module under analysis (classrooms) is made up of predominantly reinforced concrete material and has a Dual type structural system in both directions of analysis X-X and Y-Y. The Linear (static and dynamic) and static nonlinear analysis of the structure was carried out in the Etabs Software, taking as reference the parameters of the Peruvian standards: NTE E.020 (Loads), NTE E.030 (Earthquake Resistant Design), NTE E.050 (Soils and Foundations), NTE E.060 (Reinforced Concrete) and the procedures of international codes: (FEMA 440, 2005), (American Society of Civil Engineers-ASCE / SEI 41-13, 2014) and ( Seismology Committee Structural Engineers Association of California-SEAOC, 1999). When applying the non-linear static analysis to the structure, it was determined that it is at the performance levels: Operational, Operational, Life Safe and Near Collapse for the earthquake levels: frequent, occasional, design and maximum respectively. Finally, the final structural design of the structural elements of the superstructure and substructure was carried out, the results are reflected in the structural plans.
